My Occupation

Early in 2007 I gave up work because of ill health and to care full time for my Hubby. I have worked in social care since 1985. My lovely hubby sadly passed away in March '08, I am now rebuilding my life with the help of the Sheenies.

My Hobbies

Reading, gardening, cooking, all craft especially card making.

Hi again! Not been too well for the last few days and haven't felt much like doing anything. Feeling better today though.

The new craftroom is about to earn its keep as I have the biggest wedding stationary order for a friend I have ever done. Ha ha! I bought the shelving unit for the craftroom today, went to pick it up (so far, so good). Came home opened the box and there were squillions of little bits of wood that all had to be assembled. So here I am, with one completed shelf unit, a blister or two and not much more done!!! Never mind though, flat pack furniture and I are never going to be best buddies so I was quite pleased with my efforts.

Done Lots more sorting today, I was hoping to have room for a new bookcase and a storage rack but a radiator makes the measurements 7cm too short!I really need to decorate, but there are two gorgeous murals on the walls. Well I've always wanted to do a blog so heres my chance.

Over this weekend I have moved my workroom into the larger spare bedroom and vice versa. It has taken a huge amount of effort to do this. But the worst is now over and sorting out can be done gradually. I have been off-line most of the weekend and I have been really touched by the number of people who have requested to be my friend.
